Early one morning, while lying awake with my eyes closed, a soft voice whispered in my ear, "Let me bring you closer to God." At that moment, I felt a gentle pressure beneath my arms, as if invisible hands were lifting me upward. Even when I opened my eyes briefly, the sensation of rising remained. In my heart, I kept saying yes, yes, yes. This experience marked the beginning of a profound spiritual journey, one that brought me closer to God and awakened gifts I had only sensed before.
This post explores that divine ascension, the deepening of faith it inspired, and the spiritual gifts that have since shaped my life. I hope sharing this journey encourages others to recognize and embrace the ways God moves in their lives.

The Moment of Divine Contact
The experience began in a state between sleep and wakefulness, a place where the soul often feels most open. The whisper, gentle yet clear, invited me closer to God. The sensation of being lifted was not frightening but comforting, as if I were being carried by unseen hands toward a higher place.
This moment was not just physical but deeply spiritual. The pressure under my arms left a lasting soreness, a reminder that this was real and tangible. It was as if my body had been touched by divine power, preparing me for what was to come.
Hearing the Guidance of the Holy Spirit
Since that morning, my ears feel as if they are always at a higher altitude, tuned to a different frequency. I hear the guidance of the Holy Spirit and my Holy Guardian Angel more clearly than ever before. This new clarity is not just about hearing but understanding. The messages are gentle nudges, words of encouragement, and sometimes direct instructions.
One of the most remarkable gifts I have received is the gift of utterance. Before speaking in tongues, I hear the Holy Spirit giving me the words to begin. These utterances are not random sounds but carry deep meaning—praise, prophecy, gratitude, and peace. They come not from my own mind but through the Holy Spirit working within me.
The Gift of Tongues and Prophecy
Speaking in tongues is a powerful spiritual gift that allows communication beyond human language. When I speak in tongues, it feels like tongues of fire blazing praise for my Lord Jesus Christ. These moments are filled with intense spiritual energy and connection.
Some utterances are meant as a weapon, a spiritual defense speaking the truth, some are prophetic, offering direct communication to God or messages meant for others. These words bring comfort, love, peace, truth, guidance, and sometimes warnings. They remind me that God is always present and active in our lives, speaking through the Holy Spirit.
Living with Spiritual Gifts Daily
The presence of these gifts has transformed my daily life. Gratitude, love, peace, and truth flow through me not by my own effort but through God’s grace. This grace is enough to sustain me through challenges and doubts.
Many miracles have already happened in my life, confirming God's presence and work. These experiences have strengthened my faith and removed any doubt about the reality of divine intervention.
Practical Ways to Nurture Spiritual Gifts
Prayer and Meditation: Regular time spent in prayer opens the heart to hear God’s voice.
Listening Quietly: Sometimes, the Holy Spirit speaks in silence or soft whispers.
Journaling: Writing down spiritual experiences helps recognize patterns and messages.
Community Support: Sharing experiences with trusted spiritual mentors or groups encourages growth.
Faith in Action: Using gifts to serve others strengthens their power and impact.
Embracing God’s Grace
The journey of faith is not always easy, but God's grace is sufficient. This grace carries us through moments of uncertainty and lifts us to new heights, just as I felt lifted that morning. It invites us to trust beyond what we see and to embrace the spiritual gifts God offers.
Faith grows when we say yes to God’s invitation, just as I did. Saying yes opens the door to transformation, healing, and deeper connection with the divine. Thank You Lord Jesus Christ, forever and ever. Amen.
